Angeli R. ECHIVERRI, President
Angeli was born in Iligan City and graduated from UP Diliman with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She currently manages two stores of “Cherry & Michelle” a family owned bakery-pastry shop in Iligan City. Keen on culinary arts – desserts especially! – Angeli also enjoys going on adventure, playing the piano and reading literature. Beside her business, being also a licensed teacher, she does volunteer work in the field of education, believing that this is one of the keys to improving people’s lives, particularly those in the margin of society.
Her favorite dish at Eiffel Kubo is the Gratin de kare-kare, followed by a slice of Sunrise pineapple pie and, why not, by Le latik puff.
Guillaume (William) KOPP, Chairman
Guillaume was born in France and graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Science. His first profession was into social work in France and, with a Human Resources degree, joined Nestlé as a HR executive. A turn in his life was his involvement as a Humanitarian overseas, serving missions in several countries of Africa and South East Asia. His last mission happened in the Philippines, a country and a people he immediately fell in love with. This is how Guillaume decided to settle in Malaybalay, a city close the Transfiguration monastery, bordered by beautiful mountains that remind him of his childhood in France.
This is where Eiffel Kubo started, as an original restaurant with a cause. Guillaume especially enjoys the Quails nest soup, Manok au Vin with a glass of red wine and, among many desserts, the Coffee mousse and the Sunset pineapple pie.
Lee was born in Iligan City. He left for Manila at an early age as a scholar in Philippine Science High School. He obtained his accounting degree from San Sebastián College-Recoletos. He is presently the Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Recycling Industries which specializes in solid waste recycling and reclamation services. Lee, a loving and caring family man with two successful children, is an accomplished triathlete and a fine wine connoisseur.
At Eiffel Kubo, Lee could opt for a shot of our 15 years Singleton whisky, followed by a kinilaw served with a glass of white wine.
Michelle was born and raised in Iligan City. She graduated with a degree in International Studies from Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro. She worked for three years at Starbucks in Manila, before finally settling in her hometown with her lovely daughter Nowie. She works from home as a talented transcriptionist.
Michelle would go for the exotic Beef Rendang or the spicy Bicol Express, and enjoy a merienda of iced coffee and Silvanas.
Julius is from Iligan City where he has a successful dental practice after graduating from Cebu Doctors’ University in 1990. As he himself loves to cook and bake, he has a discriminating taste for good food. Besides his professional achievements and intellectual centers of interests, Julius has a talent for manual work and yearly creates a dreamlike Christmas village at home.
Julius would definitely have a keen eye for the Monk’s Blend coffee cream pie, the Sunrise pineapple and the Sunset cashew pies…
