Our dream team
Our team, driven by a passion to create, serve and share, is key to Eiffel Kubo’s success. Let us introduce ourselves!
June 15 – October 15, 2016
Named after Lawrence of Arabia, our Pastry Chef shifts from deserts of Palestine to Palatable desserts with a similar perfectionism and full-scale dedication to his cause. Chef Lawrence’s discreet and easy-going way of relating to the team makes him likable to all. You’d better listen carefully to his concise and soft-spoken words: uncompromising messages on quality standards are often being conveyed!
Lawrence was born in Iligan City. A physical therapist by profession, he reverted to his intimate passion for creative pastries and soon graduated in Culinary Arts. He swiftly rose up the ranks in Pampanga restaurants, became Chief Instructor and jumped to the position of Assistant Pastry Chef in a Norwegian ship cruising the freezing waters of Alaska.
June 15,2016-March 31,2017
Chef Jeil is for sure the cheerful steering force of Eiffel Kubo’s kitchen – and beyond. Her passion to explore and achieve unique savory dishes, her kind attention to the team and a sound dedication to our restaurant are already proverbial. You would often hear Jeil singing and cracking jokes – even at the most hectic times of service – to the pleasure of everyone. She is such a hardworking, business oriented and – above all – shining personality.
Jeil is from Lantapan, Bukidnon. She joined Eiffel Kubo after working for almost ten years in South Korea and Singapore, in restaurants’ dining and kitchen areas, where she excelled to the point of being appointed Head Chef in an amazingly short amount of time. Jeil is now back to her country and family, for our highest satisfaction.
Oct 31st, 2016 – A swim with bright fishes and giant clams…
After a sound night in the ice cold dormitory room and a breakfast, kuya Boy drove us to the South of Camiguin, to visit a wonderful site where giant clams are taken care of. Guided by two knowledgeable girls, we came to know more about these hermaphrodite marvels of nature. Armed with masks, tuba and life jackets, we followed the guides into the sea and started to come along with fishes of all colors and shapes, overlooking dancing corals and opened clams… Unforgettable moment of communion with nature at its best… For sure, Camiguin was a landmark in our human adventure, as a team.
December 18, 2016 – Eiffel Kubo team celebrates Christmas !
Angeli ECHIVERRI, Eiffel Kubo’s President, officially inaugurates the new cottage in the garden side of the restaurant
A generous gifts giving indeed, unknown to the French but so typical of Filipinos’ way of life, is much appreciated by Ms Meriel, the VIRREY Connection, chef James and all of us
Chef Jeil & Angeli together in a smile
William and Angeli glad to proceed with next year’s promising project, the cottage at the garden side, together with Eiffel Kubo’s amazing team…
